Connecticut boasts a lot of Beatles experts. Many of them, such as Charles Rosenay!!! of Liverpool Productions, grew up while the Fab Four were still together. Beatles fan Aaron Krerowicz was born in 1985 (a year which some know as the title of a really bad Paul McCartney & Wings song), yet he still connects deeply to the band. Krerowicz blogs his thoughts about the Beatles—everything from book reviews to “Harmonic Analysis of Beatles Music”—here.
On Saturday Sept. 14 at 2 p.m. in New Haven Free Public Library (133 Elm Street, New Haven; http://nhfpl.org), Aaron Krerowicz, who has studied music theory and/or composition at Butler University, Boston University and the Hartt School and has done special research on the links between Beatle music and 20th century avant-garde composerts, shares his Beatle knowledge with the masses.
The lecture’s free. All you need, apparently, is love.
