PLAINFIELD, Conn. (AP) - Plainfield police say they've arrested the parents of a toddler found roaming outside his home early Friday, wearing only a T-shirt and a diaper.
Police say the 2-year-old boy was crying for his parents and screaming to be let inside the home. Police say it was about 30 degrees outside when they found the boy.
Police have arrested the mother and the boy's stepfather. Twenty-two-year-old Tina Bingham and 23-year-old Anthony Bingham are each charged with risk of injury to a minor.
Police say the boy wandered outside through an unlocked rear door.
The parents are being held on bond pending arraignment in Danielson Superior Court on Friday.
