Baby found unconscious in Hamden home dies

      HAMDEN, Conn. (AP) - Hamden police say the baby who was
critically ill after being found unconscious last week has died.
      Police say they are awaiting the results of an autopsy on the
baby identified as 7-week-old Lanyh Cox. Police say she died
Saturday at Yale-New Haven Hospital.
      Capt. Ronald Smith says the investigation into the babys death
is still open, although police believe its accidental.
      A preliminary investigation has revealed the baby was lying on a
couch with her father and when the father woke up he found the baby
was not breathing.
