A Lebanon City bank robbery suspect is identified by police. An arrest warrant has been issued for 38 year old Avon Quiero, Jr, of Lebanon. Police say that Quiero robbed the Wells Fargo Bank branch in the 800 block of Cumberland Street.

It happened just after 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon. The suspect displayed what appeared to be a gun under his jacket.  He handed the teller a note to empty the cash drawer. He then ran out the door with some cash.

During a review of bank surveillance video, Quiero was recognized as a person known to them. A bank employee also positively identified Quiero.  Quiero was convicted in 2008 for his involvement with a robbery at the same bank. He was the getaway driver.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Quiero is asked to contact the Lebanon County Police at (717) 272-6611.
