New York City Police are investigating two separate fatal stabbings that took place in the Bronx Wednesday.

The first one involved a 911 call at 5:30 p.m. of a male stabbed in front of 2842 Gunther Ave in the confines of the 47th Precinct, police said.

17-year-old Rashawn Birthright was discovered with a stab wound to the chest, according to police.

He was pronounced dead at Jacobi Hospital.

A second fatal stabbing took place roughly 6 hours later in the vicinity of Longwood Avenue and Southern Blvd in the confines of the 41st Precinct, police said.

In that case police found 18-year-old Jovan Maldonado stabbed numerous times.

The victim staggered to the front of 1035 Longwood Avenue, the police precinct, where he finally collapsed, according to police.

Emergency Medical Services rushed Maldonado to Lincoln Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

No arrests have been made in either case so far, but the investigation is ongoing.
