Schneiderman Moves Ahead Of Rice In Primary
Late returns from New York City in the Democratic primary for New York attorney general show state Sen. Eric Schneiderman moving ahead of Nassau County prosecutor Kathleen Rice in a race where she was ahead early.

With 83 percent of precincts reporting, Schneiderman's gains in Manhattan, Brooklyn and the Bronx put him ahead by about 16,000 votes. He also leads in the Hudson Valley, while Rice is winning Long Island and many upstate counties.

Retired trial attorney Sean Coffey, former insurance superintendent Eric Dinallo and Assemblyman Richard Brodsky are trailing.

Dinallo and Brodsky have conceded. Both say they will support tonight's winner, who will face Republican prosecutor Dan Donovan of Staten Island.
