Hot Dog! Joey Wins Again!
Call it a dynasty. For the third year in a row Joey Chestnut has captured the Nathan's Famous Fourth of July International Hot Dog Eating Contest.

Setting a new world record by downing 68 franks and buns, Chestnut defeated six-time victor and archrival Takeru Kobayashi. The Japanese hot dog eating legend never caught Chestnut who led the gastronomic race from the first mouthful.

A huge, enthusiastic crowd in Coney Island watched in wonder as the many contestants wolfed down hundreds of frankfurters trying to unseat Chestnut, to no avail.

Chestnut, who hails from San Jose, California, was thrilled to once again be crowned top dog.
