NEW HAVEN, CT (WPIX)—Police in Connecticut are on the hunt for a Yale University graduate student who went missing five days before her wedding.
Annie Le, 24, a doctoral student in pharmacology, was last spotted in a college research lab Tuesday morning. According to police, her purse, cell phone, credit cards and cash were found inside her office.
Police from Yale, the FBI and the Connecticut State Police are combing the college campus and the nearby area for clues. In addition, authorities are also reviewing images from closed-circuit cameras.
Her college roommate told authorities she last saw Le Tuesday morning.
Debbie Apuzzo, who works in the pharmacology department, described Le as an energetic and conscientious person. She said Le was looking forward to getting married.
Le, who is 4-foot-11 and weights 90 pounds, is of Asian decent, has brown hair and brown eyes. The California-native received her undergraduate degree two years ago in bioscience from the University of Rochester in New York.
