Dr. Donielle Wilson’s professional credentials as a women’s health expert include a doctorate in naturopathic medicine from Bastyr University (one of only seven recognized and accredited naturopathic medical colleges in North America) and certification as a professional midwife and doula. She also holds a bachelor's degree in nutrition and a bachelor's in science from Oregon State University.
Dr. Wilson is licensed to practice naturopathic medicine in both Connecticut and Washington State. When she moved to the Tri-State area in 2001, Dr. Doni practiced for 6 years in a busy naturopathic clinic specializing in environmental and food allergies where she developed her specialized approach to food intolerances and "eating for health" as she calls it.
Most recently, while maintaining a full practice in three locations (Manhattan, Stamford, CT, and Port Jefferson, NY), Dr. Doni's continued research led her to look for connections between food intolerances and neurotransmitter imbalances, which has now become a cutting-edge area of investigation.
