NEW YORK (WPIX)—Nearly 50 gang members who are reportedly affiliated with the Bloods were busted Wednesday for running so-called open air drug markets at two housing projects near Yankee Stadium.
According to DEA officials, the suspects are charged with dealing cocaine and crack. According to an indictment unsealed today in Manhattan Federal court, the members may also be responsible for at least 20 unsolved murders and more than 40 shootings over the past few years.
