Mom Of 2 Dead, 4 Injured In Brooklyn Shooting
The investigation is continuing into a senseless shooting that left a mother of two dead. Cops say four people were shot, including a 13-year-old boy who suffered a graze wound to his back, in front of 40 Clarkson Avenue in Flatbush. The gunfire erupted just off Flatbush Avenue at about 9 p.m. Thursday.

Cops say the woman was shot in the back and she and the 13-year-old were rushed by EMS to Kings County Hospital where she was pronounced dead on arrival. A 29-year-old suffered a graze wound to the stomach and a 26-year-old was hit in the arm and buttocks. Police say some of the injured walked to the nearby hospital.

Javier David lives on the block and told PIX11, "None of this makes any sense to me and it strikes me that everyone is after law enforcement and their policies to prevent stuff like this from happening and when it happens they are like it's okay." he went on to say " This is an outrage. People should be taking to the streets about things like this but they're not."

There is no word on what sparked the shooting or who fired the weapons. The investigation is continuing.
