One person is injured after an ambulance crashed into pole while transporting a patient to the hospital Thursday morning, stated Nassau County Police.

Cops say the ambulance was near the intersection of Jericho Turnpike and Woodbury Road when it slammed into a pole, which was next to several trees.

Tha patient was in unknown condition, but was suffering from non-immediate life-threatening injury.

The relative was taken to North Shore Long Island Jewish Hospital in Syosset in unknown condition.

Police are investigating what cause the ambluance to crash.
