President Barack Obama woke up in his own bed at his South Side home in Kenwood Saturday morning, something he said he was looking forward to.
The president arrived in Chicago Friday night to raise money for his re-election campaign.
He headlined three fundraisers and raised more than $3 million dollars.
The first event was held at the Chicago Cultural Center where tickets started at $2,500.
Shortly after 7 p.m. the president's motorcade headed for the next event, a dinner with about 50 supporters in the South Loop home of Chicago lawyer Chaka Patterson.
The last event was a dinner with roughly the same number of people at the Gold Coast home of Jim Crown. Tickets for those events cost nearly $36,000 per guest.
President Obama is scheduled to leave the city around noon Saturday.
