CHICAGO—The highly publicized Royal White Tigers exhibit at Navy Pier was abruptly closed Tuesday.
Pier officials shuttered the show after Chicago Tribune's John Kass informed them that the U.S. Department of Agriculture is in the process of revoking the show's license for health and safety violations, and for mistreating animals.
The show's owner says the claims are untrue.
Navy Pier paid $27,000 for the exhibit. It was supposed to run until February 12th.
