McHenry sheriff's sergeant suspended, but still being paid
A sergeant in the McHenry County Sheriff's Department is suspended while he faces trial for sexually abusing a child; but he is still getting paid.

Gregory Pyle was placed on leave in January; but in his ten years with the department, he's racked up a lot of unused vacation days and sick days.

So now he's redeeming those days; his bosses say Pyle earned them, so they have to pay him even if they fire him.

Pyle's trial date will be set next month.
