Aniston gets walk of fame star days before new movie release

Jennifer Aniston was sparkling next to her Hollywood Walk of Fame star Wednesday, only two days before the release of her new movie "Wanderlust."

The 43-year-old actress was accompanied by her father, "Days of Our Lives" actor John Aniston and her boyfriend Justin Theroux when she was honored with the 2,462nd Walk of Fame star.

"It probably wasn't even a dream; it was one of my wildest dreams. I don't think that I ever even thought that this would be here, this day. So I am utterly humbled and grateful," said Aniston told Reuters at the ceremony.

Her dear friend and co-star in "Just Go with It" Adam Sandler was at the event attributing Aniston with a very witty and loving speech.

"She prayed for three things: to have everyone in the entire world be fascinated with her hair, to one day star in a movie about an evil leprechaun who kills people, and most importantly, receive a star on the prestigious Hollywood Walk of Fame. Well, today, Jennifer, the trifecta is here," Sandler said, accoring to the Reuters report.

Aniston and boyfriend Theroux shared their very first public kiss at the ceremony yesterday. The couple met while shooting "Wanderlust" and has been dating for about eight months.

"Wanderlust" costars Malin Akerman and Kathryn Hanh showed up as well to congratulate Aniston but there was no sign of her"Friends" co-stars.

Aniston got her breakthrough as Rachael Green in "Friends," giving her five Emmy nominations and $1 million per episode for the tenth season. After her TV career, Aniston focused on feature films resulting in movies such as "The Break-Up," "The Switch," "Horrible Bosses," and most recently "Wanderlust."

"Wanderlust," which opens in the U.S. Friday, is a story about a Manhattan couple experimenting with different kinds of living options. Starring: Aniston, Paul Rudd, Malin Akerman, Kathryn Hanh and Justin Theroux.
