Saints fall to Bucs, Payton hurt
The Saints four game winning streak came to a sudden stop in Tampa.

The Bucs forced 4 turnovers, including 3 interceptions of Saints quarterback Drew Brees on the way to a 26-20 win Sunday in Tampa. The Saints played the entire second half with head coach Sean Payton in the lockeroom. Payton suffered a torn MCL and fractured tibia of the left leg when he was rolled up by tight end Jimmy Graham as Graham was tackled near the Saints bench in the first quarter.

Payton spent the rest of the first half on the team bench. He went to the dressing room at half, and did not return. Payton will have surgery Monday.

The Saints led 7-3 before the Bucs reeled off 17 consecutive points. Josh Freeman threw two touchdown passes, 65 yards to Arrelious Benn, and 19 yards to Preston Parker.

The Saints had a chance to take the lead late in the fourth. But on fourth and two at the Bucs 4 yard line, Brees was intercepted in the endzone.

The Bucs took over first place in the NFC South with a 4-2 record.
