JPSO Cruising for Culprits in Auto Parts Store Stick-Up
Deputies are searching for two armed robbers who held up a Marrero auto parts store.

The Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office reports surveillance photos were taken of two men at the Advance Auto Parts Saturday night on the Westbank Expressway.

No one was injured, but employees say the duo cleaned the store out of its cash, commanding the clerk to empty registers and a safe before bolting.

The men are described as African American, about 6-feet, and 24 to 30-years-old.

Both wore baseball hats.

One of the robbers wore a gray t-shirt, blue jeans and a black cap. That suspect also carried a silver handgun, deputies and employees stated.

The other wore a black shirt, dark-colored hat and jeans.

They struck around in the 8-PM hour July 28, employees said.
