Cana man allegedly found with meth, 26 firearms
A Cana man has been arrested for having meth and 26 firearms.

The Carroll County Sheriff's Office arrested Daniel Monday on March 8.

Investigators say when they went to serve a warrant for prior felony charges on Monday's garage on Flat Ridge Road, they found methamphetamine and several firearms.

Monday is facing gun and drug charges.

He's being held  in the New River Valley Regional Jail without bound.

Sheriff John B. Gardner advises that on March 8, 2012, Deputies from the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant on a garage located on Flat Ridge Road in Cana, Virginia. Deputies encountered the garage owner, Daniel Monday, inside the garage. Monday, who was wanted for prior felony charges, was arrested and Methamphetamine was found in his possession. Also in Monday’s possession in the garage were numerous firearms.

The garage owner, Daniel Wade Monday, age 36, of Cana, Virginia was arrested and charged with Possession of Schedule II Drugs, and Possession of Schedule II Drugs while Possessing Firearms. 26 firearms were seized from the garage. Monday was taken to New River Valley Jail on no bond.
