A Marion County man died in a crash at a railroad crossing in north Alabama Tuesday afternoon.

The Winston County coroner has told FOX6 News that 38-year-old Anthony Wayne Hill died in the crash.

Hill's Nissan was struck by a train at a railroad crossing on County Road 38 in Winston County just after 1:00 p.m.

It's the second fatality at a railroad crossing in Alabama in two days.

Authorities in Washington County say that a mother and daughter were killed when their car was struck by a train Tuesday.

A third person injured in that crash is in serious condition at the University of South Alabama Medical Center.
