LTC Championship
Jeh Jeh was live this morning from Bumpernets at the Riverchase Galleria to shoot some pool! This weekend at the Zamora Temple in Irondale, there will be a city-wide pool tournament, the local Tournament City Championship, or the "LTC." Some 1200 players from Jefferson and Shelby counties will compete to become the best at pool. Here is the infrormation you need:

Mudbugs and Music
Though Alabama currently has no pediatric rheumatologist to treat children with Juvenile Arthritis, the Arthritis Foundation is working to change that. Jennifer Casselman, her daughter Delaney, and Lacey Baccus with the foundation joined us this morning to tell you about their upcoming fundraiser, "Mudbugs and Music," which takes place Saturday, June 9th, 2-8pm at the Open Door Cafe in Crestline. Cost of admission is $20 and includes unlimited free crawfish, soft drinks, souvenir cup, live music, access to silent auction, and kids activities. Kids 12 and under admit free.
The event will feature live music by the Electric Mudd, Cleve Eaton and the Alabama Allstars, and Todd Simpson and Mojo Child. A silent auction is expected to include weekend getaways, passes to local attractions, gift certificates to local eateries, a party at B&A warehouse, artwork and more! USATF National Masters
The USATF National Masters decathlon/heptathlon championships will be held this weekend at Spain Park High School.  Some 44 men and women will be competing and are representing 2 countries and 23 states. There will be American and world champions, as well as American and world record holders scheduled to compete. Admissiion is free. It starts Saturday at 8:15am and sunday at 8:30am.
