About the ASO Holiday Concert

The ASO Holiday Concert at Fair Park is a community outreach event for the Birmingham metro and surrounding areas.  Admission to the concert is free; however, donations of non-perishable food items are highly encouraged.

Non-perishable food items will be collected by representatives of the Community Social Work Solutions, Inc in order to help relieve the shortage of food to local organizations serving those less fortunate this holiday season.

The concert is sponsored by ACIPCO, Princeton Baptist Medial Center, Publix Super Markets, Inc. and Fox 6.  Additional support is provided by the City of Birmingham, Alabama State Council on the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts.

The ASO program includes several holiday classics such as “Carol of the Bells,” “Traditions of Christmas,” “White Christmas” and “Little Bolero Boy.” The program also features guest appearances with various local choirs, musicians and officials.
