    Raymond Davis grew up in the Montgomery County village of Palm, the son of a Mack Trucks worker. Now 89 and living in Emmaus, he remembers hitting Utah Beach on D-Day, June 6, 1944, as a private in the Army's 90th Infantry Division, and some of his other experiences in World War II.
