  • Missing road signs confuse motorists

    Q: Since moving to South Whitehall, I enter Route 309 off of Tilghman Street, and it seems to me there is a sign missing. Heading west on Tilghman Street just before the 309 interchange, a sign indicates "PA 309 South" with a straight-ahead arrow. But the entrance ramp to the right, immediately after the overpass, is unmarked. I can't imagine an unfamiliar driver making this entrance correctly. Is there no sign placement due to the overpass, or is PennDOT missing the mark?
