Red Sox: Replacing Jacoby

Coming out of spring training the Red Sox were prepared to give the center field job to reclamation project Grady Sizemore, pictured. The former all-star had not played a big league game since 2011, but he seized the job from rookie Jackie Bradley Jr. and was expected to fill the void left by Jacoby Ellsbury. But it didn't take long for the Red Sox to go with Bradley's superior defense in center while shifting the slumping Sizemore (.208, 3 for his last 37) to left and right. Meanwhile, Boston's lead-off batters are hitting .191 with a .280 on-base percentage. Ellsbury? He's hitting .312/.369 for the Yankees.
