  23. Abstract Recycling at North Stonington Transfer Station, June 30-July 31

    A new exhibit incorporating the use of recycled materials, called <em>Abstract Recycling: the Art of the Dump</em>, created by the <a href="http://www.provenancecenter.com/" target="_blank">Provenance Center</a> of New London, opens June 30 at the North Stonington Transfer Station. It's the second annual exhibit of its kind, and the Center hopes it'll help guide viewers to "reflect upon the environment in which we not only live, but actively participate on a daily basis." The exhibit is viewable on Tuesdays from noon to 3 p.m. through July 31, or by appointment. The opening reception is June 30, 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Light refreshments and the sounds of Sinan Bakir await you.
