    ALANSON - All Alanson Middle School students recently visited the Dennos Museum in Traverse City. Students and staff traveled to see the performance of Leslie McCurdy's tribute to Harriet Tubman called "The Spirit of Harriet Tubman." Teachers Kathy Liederbach, Hayley Cheshire and Julie Woodbeck wanted to give the students an educational and cultural experience by exposing them to live theater.
