MVCC men's tennis program hoping for bright future

The Moraine Valley Community College men's tennis team finished 5-4 this season under first-year head coach Robert Gates. The Cyclones went 3-3 in conference play and finished fifth in the NJCAA Region IV Tournament. Gates said that while he hoped for a stronger finish, his team improved more over the season than any other team he had coached, according to a press release from the Palos Hills school.
