HARTFORD — Riding CTfastrak should be a breeze for anyone familiar with Boston's T, New York's subways, Metro-North's New Haven line or the light rail systems of Baltimore, Denver, Minneapolis or elsewhere.

For those who are accustomed to traditional transit buses, it will be something new.

CTfastrak riders will plan trips, pay their fares and board the bus a bit differently than passengers on the standard blue-and-silver transit buses that operate around the state.
