HARTFORD — Daily nonstop service between Bradley International Airport and Los Angeles is set to begin in June, Gov. Dannel P. Malloy announced Wednesday.
The American Airlines service to Los Angeles International Airport is expected to help promote Connecticut business not only with California and the West Coast, but also with huge markets in Asia, particularly China.
"It's more welcoming for Asian businesses to come here," said Anne Evans, district director in Connecticut for the U.S. Department of Commerce.
The new connection also will ease Los Angeles-bound travelers who won't have to start their trip at one of the New York or Boston airports. And...
