BWI to see transcontinental service from Alaska Airlines

Alaska Airlines announced Wednesday it will begin a new transcontinental flight between BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport and San Diego, California beginning next year.

In a release, the Linthicum airport said the airline plans to begin the service on March 15, 2017. Alaska Airlines currently offers flights out of BWI to Los Angeles, California and Seattle, Washington.
