Ilyce Glink and Samuel Tamkin
Ilyce Glink is an award-winning, nationally syndicated columnist, television reporter and radio talk show host who is widely known for her expertise on trends and issues in real estate and finance. Her syndicated column, "Real Estate Matters," offers common sense information and practical insights for anyone thinking about buying, selling, rehabbing or refinancing a home.
Glink is the author of many books, including the best-selling "100 Questions Every First-Time Home Buyer Should Ask." Glink's work has been published by newspapers nationwide, including Chicago Tribune, Chicago Sun-Times, Los Angeles Times, San Diego Union-Tribune, San Francisco Chronicle, San Jose Mercury News and The Washington Post, as well as by magazines such as Better Homes & Gardens, Worth, Bride's, Chicago and Working Woman. She is host of a weekly radio talk show on Newstalk 750 WSB radio in Atlanta. She also contributes commentaries to "Sound Money" on National Public Radio. She spent eight years as an on-air producer reporter for WGN-TV in Chicago, and is currently producing and hosting the Ilyce Glink Video Minute, which is distributed on the Internet.

Glink's many awards include Best Consumer Reporter from the National Association of Real Estate Editors and the First Money $mart Award. Her books "100 Questions Every First-Time Home Buyer Should Ask" and "100 Questions Every Home Seller Should Ask" received high honors from Chicago Women in Publishing in 1994 and 1995, respectively. She also received the Best Consumer Magazine Article award (1997) and Best Television Report (2006) from the National Association of Real Estate Editors.
Sam Tamkin is a Chicago-based real estate attorney with more than 20 years of experience working with residential and commercial clients. Tamkin studied economics, history and international relations at the University of Pennsylvania and received his law degree from the University of Illinois.
In addition to his work with buyers and sellers of residential real estate transactions, he has helped homeowners with loan modifications, residential leases, easements and licenses. His work with commercial real estate clients has included 1031 Tax Deferred Exchanges, construction loans, permanent loans, letters of credit, ground leases and retail, office, industrial and restaurant leases. He has represented both landlords and tenants in their lease transactions. Sam has also represented industrial and commercial purchasers in their acquisition of land for their properties and has represented sellers in their sale of industrial, office, retail and apartment buildings.
