Back in November, Marshall Peppelman and Silvio Martinez squared off in Lehigh's wrestle-offs for the 165-pound spot in the lineup.
Martinez won the match 3-1 on three stall points and the job, pushing Peppelman up to 174.
The two transfers, both graduate students in their first and only year with the program, met again in early January in a consolation match at the Southern Scuffle when both were entered at 165. This time Peppelman came away with a 2-1 overtime victory, earning the right to compete at 165.
So Martinez moved up to 174, and so far his new weight has been a new beginning.
