NEW HAVEN — The main draw at the Connecticut Open at the Connecticut Tennis Center at Yale give tennis fans interesting first-round matchup.
WTA player representative Dominika Cibulkova was on hand Friday afternoon to assist with the selection of the main draw, and the 13th-ranked singles player in the world was handed an intriguing first-round opponent in world No. 19 Andrea Petkovic.
