    On March 15, Janayah Body a West Hartford resident and athlete of Styles United Transformative Martial Arts in South Windsor competed in the New York State Taekwondo Championships for a chance to qualify to the 2014 USA Taekwondo (the official governing body of Sport Taekwondo in the USA) National Championships that will take place this summer in San Jose, Calif. Janayah, who is 9 years old competed and dominated her opponent in New York and will now have the opportunity to compete in the female 8 to 9 year old black belt divison at Nationals as one of the east coasts top seeded players.
