    Special Olympics' Flame of Hope to pass Baltimore this week
    The Unified Relay Across America, which will carry the Flame of Hope to the Special Olympics World Games in Los Angeles, will pass Baltimore on Tuesday and Wednesday. On Tuesday, the torch will be carried from Mount Rainer to College Park from noon to 1 p.m., from College Park to Jessup from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from Jessup to Baltimore from 4 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. The Baltimore route includes the Inner Harbor, Locust Point, downtown, Seton Hill, RavensWalk and Camden Yards, and culminates in a community celebration at Camden Yards. On Wednesday, the torch will be carried from Baltimore to Brooklyn Park from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m., from Brooklyn Park to Severna Park from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from Severna Park to Annapolis from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. The Annapolis route includes Baltimore-Annapolis Boulevard, Bishop Stadium, Worden Field, the U.S. Naval Academy Museum, Main Street, the Annapolis Harbor and Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium, and culminates in a community celebration at City Dock. On Thursday, the torch will be carried from Annapolis to Davidsonville from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. and from Davidsonville to Capitol Heights from 10 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. For more information, go to unifiedrelay.org.
