U.S. Soccer Liked What Newcomers Brought To Table In East Hartford

It took Dom Dwyer, an English-born forward for the United States men's soccer team, about 19 minutes into his national team career to get fans at Rentschler Field in East Hartford excited about the future.

After an active start to his first game, including a shot on net five minutes early, Dwyer got free in the box and smacked a deflected ball hard into the goal to get his first goal and give the Americans an early lead over World Cup rival Ghana.
