Hartford Marathon: Stadolnik Won't Slow Down, Hopes To Lower His Time Saturday

Mike Stadolnik started running seven years ago. Back then, an 80-mile running week felt like a lot.

Now he's not happy unless he's running — at the peak of his training — around 140 miles a week.

Stadolnik, 43, of Plainfield was the top masters finisher at the Eversource Hartford Marathon last year, finishing ninth overall and running a personal best of 2:34:46. He was the top state finisher at the Boston Marathon in April.

He will try to lower his time and win the masters title again Saturday morning at the Hartford Marathon.
