WEST HAVEN — By the time a two-hour Yale lacrosse practice was nearing completion Tuesday night the temperature had dipped into the low-40s, and the wind that whipped through Reese Stadium would make just about anyone want to curl up and seek protection along the brick walls of Coxe Cage, the university's adjacent track facility.
"You think it's cold?" sophomore Ben Reeves said.
"We're out here in January, February," senior captain Michael Quinn said. "Some schools are fortunate enough to have indoor facilities or 65-, 70-degree weather. We pride ourselves on that. Snow, sleet, hail, rain — we'll be out here."
