One OT Goal Decides CCC Central Lacrosse Final

With an overtime goal from the game's MVP, the Simsbury Trojans bested Glastonbury, 9-8, in the CCC Central boys lacrosse final match on May 26.

Neither team lead by more than one at any point in the hard-fought, back-and-forth battle. Simsbury's Zachary Levin opened the scoring in the first quarter, followed by one by Glastonbury's Michael Hawkins.

The teams traded goals until the second, when Trojans Riley Chapman and Torben Wunderle put in back-to-back shots. Glastonbury then strung together goals by Tanner Walker, Carson Mascheck, and Ronan Jacoby to take its first lead in the game with 7:02 left in the third quarter.
