Lightning's Steven Stamkos hasn't been scoring at his customary pace

If there is one thing that has defined Steven Stamkos' NHL career, it has been his consistent goal scoring. With the exception of last season, when Stamkos missed nearly four months with a broken leg, the 25-year-old Lightning center has ranked first (twice) or second (three times) among NHL goal-scorers in five of the last six seasons. In that span, he has averaged .61 goals per game. But the goal light hasn't gone on for Stamkos in 26 of the last 35 games, including a goal-less streak of eight games to open the 2015 playoffs and an ongoing one of seven.
