The St. Louis Blues recalled forward Tage Thompson from its AHL affiliate, the San Antonio Rampage.
Thompson’s second stint with the Blues was apparently necessitated by a lower body injury to forward Sammy Blais, who was placed on injured reserve.
Thompson, 20, the Blues’ first-round draft pick in 2016, was in uniform for four games with the Blues after making the team out of training camp, serving four penalty minutes.
The 6-foot-5, 201-pound forward has also appeared in 24 games for the Rampage, posting 16 points (seven goals, nine assists).
