The Blackhawks, especially coach Joel Quenneville, were left with a bitter taste in their mouths after they lost 2-0 to the Sharks on Tuesday night at the United Center.
The Hawks thought they had scored a goal in the first period when Brandon Mashinter put in a loose puck off his right leg. The goal was overturned after a challenge from Sharks coach Peter DeBoer, with officials citing center Dennis Rasmussen for goaltender interference on the play.
Quenneville storms out
Quenneville was so infuriated with the call he stormed out of his postgame press conference after taking just one question related to the overturned goal.
