Former Blackhawk Rene Bourque sells Roscoe Village mansion for $1.5M

Former Chicago Blackhawks right wing Rene Bourque and his wife, Jana, sold their five-bedroom, 4,200-square-foot house in Chicago’s Roscoe Village neighborhood on Wednesday for $1.51 million.

A native of Alberta, Bourque, 35, who now skates for a Swedish hockey team, was with the Blackhawks from 2005 until the team traded him to the Calgary Flames in 2008. However, he and his wife long had maintained their permanent residence in Chicago. They paid $1.465 million in 2014 for the Roscoe Village house, which at that time had just been built.
