Brittany Johnson only played 17 games in what has turned out to be a magical season for Quinnipiac. Yet the junior guard has made just as much of an impact from the sidelines in the Bobcats' last 18 games.
"She knows the game very well and having her on the sidelines coaching us up has been really special," Bobcats senior forward Morgan Manz said. "And it's also hit home for a lot of us that you can't take it for granted because one day it could be taken from you."
Johnson hurt her knee in practice just before the Monmouth game Jan. 19 and has been out since.
