Flyers sign first-round pick Konecny

The Flyers now have both of their first-round picks signed after forward Travis Konecny agreed on Thursday to a three-year entry-level contract. Konecny, 18, was the 24th selection of the first round after the Flyers traded with Toronto to move up in the NHL entry draft. The Flyers swapped the 29th and 61st picks in the draft for the right to move up five spots and select Konecny. Playing for the Ottawa 67's in the Ontario Hockey League, Konecny had 29 goals and 39 assists in 60 games.
