MONTREAL — Rangers center Chris Kreider didn’t make much room for regret.
On Monday when Kreider addressed reporters, the news that Canadiens goaltender Carey Price would miss the rest of the series was still sinking in in the Rangers locker room.
Kreider, who slid into Price on a breakaway during Game 1 and caused an apparent right leg injury, was asked if there was anything he would have done differently given Price’s status.
“I look back on it and think I wish I would’ve put it in the net,” Kreider said.
