Tomas Jurco, Red Wings agree to two-year contract

The Detroit Red Wings liked what they've seen from Tomas Jurco since drafting him, never mind last season's disappointing production. He now has the security of a two-year, $1.8 million contract, agreed to Friday evening. The annual average value is $900,000, with a yearly breakdown of $850,000 and $950,000, respectively.
