Northwest Catholic 3, Suffield/Granby/Windsor Locks 2

In losses to New Canaan and Notre Dame-West Haven earlier this season, the Northwest Catholic boys hockey team started slowly and never recovered, dropping a pair of games to teams in the top five of the Division I point standings. But against the co-op of Suffield, Granby and Windsor Locks Wednesday in its regular season finale, the West Hartford school made sure it didn't happen again.

Behind the play of senior forward Anthony Ceolin, Northwest Catholic scored two goals in the first seven minutes and held on for a 3-2 win over the co-op at the International Skating Center of Connecticut. Ceolin had two goals and an assist for the Lions (16-3-1).
