Marathon Notebook: Nemec Struggles To Finish 12th

BOSTON – Lisa (Stublic) Nemec looked at her watch in the first mile of the Boston Marathon Monday and was surprised at how slow the elite women's field was going. So the former Crosby-Waterbury runner started running the pace she wanted to — and took the lead.
